Molar mass of C₂H₅Cl = 12×2 + 1×5 + 35.5 = 64.5 g/mol

ΔHvap = 24.7 kJ/mol means :
24.7 kJ of heat are absorbed when 1 mol of C₂H₅Cl vaporizes.
Thus, 24.7 kJ of heat are absorbed when 64.5 g of C₂H₅Cl vaporizes.

Heat absorbed when 12 g of C₂H₅Cl vaporizes
= 24.7 × (12/64.5) kJ
= 4.60 kJ
