Is this apartment listing fake or real. It sounds too good to be true. Or maybe it's because the area is bad.?

I will not click on the link, but I can tell you that if it sounds too good to be true, it is.

Websites are just a window, you need to book and go and see it only then will you know what the areas is like and what the property is like

well no one rents an apt without LOOKING at it in person and checking out teh neighborhood

www.apartments.com and www.rent.com and search by city.

Don't depend on Zillow or similar websites for accuracy.

The manager's number is in the ad. Call and schedule an appoinment so you can see it in person.
Also drive by at night and see what the area is like, because at night it's a lot different than in the day. And try to go see it on a weekend when neighbors are more likely to be home than at work. Because I've made the mistake of seeing a place when it was quiet, moving in, then discovering the walls were so thin I could hear the tv next door or could hear them talking when they were in their room
