Hand injury?

Last November, I broke the cartilage in my knuckle punching a wall. The doctor said it'd take 2 months to heal, but it still hurts and is very stiff. Sometimes I wake up to it being swollen and bruised. Is this normal? Thanks for any answers :)

Yes. I can say for myself that this is normal, because it happened to me. I had a knuckle injury as well and it healed perfectly fine, but sometimes it gets swollen and bruised up. But maybe you should ask your doctor, your injury might not have healed properly or did not heal yet.
