I think 2 of these were tragic lives, rather than tragic deaths, and drug-OD's ending their lives wasn't a shock for most, only Roy Orbison was a shock, because he had just committed himself to being healthier, and back on the road.

All of their deaths were tragic but I think I was more shocked when Roy Orbison died. He was 52 years of age and died of a heart attack.
All three of these people were great singers and great entertainers, they will be missed and remembered.

Roy Orbison. Great singer and had so much tragedy in his life. Didn't do drugs and end up being a shambles. A true trouper!

I've never heard of Roy Orbison. I have heard of Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. Both of their deaths were very tragic, but in my opinion, I think Whitney's death was the most tragic of all of those three.
