Should I send a thank you email after interview?

I had an interview today but I do not have the email of my interviewer. I do have an inside person that can get the interviewers email address but I m afraid that sending him something would seem a little crazy since he did not personally give me his contact info. What do you guys think?

It wouldn't hurt as long as it's a proper thank you note.
If you have their phone number then ask for their email address. If you have the correct email address then there's very little chance of it ending up in the wrong hands.
I've sent thank you notes before and didn't get the job. Sending thank you notes doesn't increase your chances of getting the job but at least they know that you're putting in the effort.
