Earliest for scheduled c section?

I was told a week prior, my due date is may 14th, making the week before may 7th. May 7th is a Saturday and they don't schedule them for the weekends. Would I be able to schedule it for the DAY before the 7th?(may 6th, 38 weeks 6 days) or will they just make me wait?

Scheduling in the week before your due date would be the week prior to your due date. May 7-14. They'd likely schedule you Monday the 9th.

ask the doctor as I do not know the doctor or the hospital so I can not say if they have any wiggle room, I would bet not if I had to guess
