Uninstalling an operating system will leave you with a piece of hardware that doesn't do anything. If you don't like WIndows 10, reformat your pc with other os like windows 7 or Ubuntu.

If you want to uninstall the windows 10, follow these simple steps:

1. Open up Settings via the Start menu or the taskbar icon.

2. Click Update & Security and then move to the Recovery section.

3. Under the Go back to Windows 7 or Go back to Windows 8.1 heading, click Get started and you'll be guided through the rest of the process.

Uninstalling an operating system, any OS, will leave you with a piece of hardware that doesn't do anything...

No way of knowing, since you haven't told us any of the relevant info, like for instance - has this machine ever had a previous Windows on it? Which one? Are you within 30 days of installing Win 10 over Win 7 or Win 8?

I just uninstalled windows 10 and went back to windows 7. I have a Dell laptop and it ran very slow with windows 10. I was getting download speeds of 3 mbs. Now with Windows 7 back I have download speeds of 40+ I liked windows 10 it was not compatible with my laptop. Windows 7 is probably better with a new machine but with an older one I would stick with 7. Luckily I was within the 30 day window to go back.

Based on your limited info you would have to replace it with a new operating system and it would cause you to format. Backup what you have.
2016-04-19 3:35 pm
If you don't have another operating system, like Windows 8, 7, or Linux installed, you will have a very large brick, and your computer will say something along the lines of "No operating system found" when you try to boot it up. The operating system (Windows 10 in your case) is what makes a computer work.

why to delete and cause unwanted harm, windows 10 is a great os
2016-04-19 9:23 am
It is called a wipe not "uninstall" and it appears you have no ability nor inkling how OS fits in the entire computing system and likely not able to use alternative OS besides those big pre-installed options such as Android or Mac. Don't think about this further unless you intend it as an academic exercise.

OS is essentially last words of making a computer useful as a tool, otherwise it is expensive door-stopper.

If you want to revert to Windows 7, it's really easy. Just look up a youtube video.

http://www.itpro.co.uk/operating-systems/26090/dont-like-windows-10-heres-how-to-uninstall-it-1 You can go back to another Windows OS only if it's been less than one month since you installed 10.

Windows 10 have spyware trying to be like android. I would stick with Windows 7 at least. It is really pointless.
2016-04-18 11:37 pm
I don't think you can uninstall Windows 10 unless there's another operating system installed on your computer. We'll need more relevant information in order to fully answer your question.
2016-04-18 5:24 pm
You may feel better?
2016-04-18 5:05 pm
It gets un-installed.
2016-04-18 5:57 pm

2016-04-24 1:13 pm
If you have upgraded from Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and it is still in the 30 Day Window, you can Uninstall Windows 10 and it will revert back to your origional Operating System.

2016-04-22 10:34 am

2016-04-22 9:41 am
Nothing bad will happen. If you are upgrade from Windows 7/8.1, it may back to your previous operating system. If you purchase the computer equipped with Windows 10 by OEM, your computer will become bare computer after uninstalling.
To uninstall the OS, you might need to format C drive (system drive). And it is hard for you to complete it with Windows tool. Use Aomei Partition Assistant to help you.

2016-04-22 12:00 am

If you uninstall Windows 10 it will roll back to your previous version of windows from which you had updated to Windows 10.
2016-04-21 3:49 pm
It will eventually be the only operating system still supported by Windows, so don't.
2016-04-21 2:57 pm
I went back to Windows 8 after running win 10 for 6 months. My computer runs much better.
2016-04-21 2:11 pm

2016-04-20 9:44 pm
The entire fabric of the Universe would collapse.

If you have upgraded from Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and it is still in the 30 Day Window, you can Uninstall Windows 10 and it will revert back to your origional Operating System.
If 30 days has passed since you upgraded to Windows 10 you can not revert back.
You can Not uninstall an operating system in the same way you uninstall other programs. Can't be done.
What you have to do is Purchase a Different Operating System and Install it, Reformatting the Hard Drive in the process, which will remove/replace Windows 10.
2016-04-20 9:10 pm
You wont have windows 10
2016-04-20 9:08 pm

2016-04-20 4:01 pm
it's not like an app where you can just uninstall it. Get with the times and stay with it. all other micrsnot OS's will eventually become obsolete.
2016-04-20 12:29 pm
don't mess around if you aren't sure of what you're doing. Try giving it to a repair shop if something's wrong.
2016-04-20 6:33 am

2016-04-20 5:04 am
You are asking the wrong person.
2016-04-20 4:49 am

2016-04-20 3:26 am
Nothing
2016-04-20 3:04 am
Then you no longer have a Windows version installed on your computer. You'd need to clean install another version of Windows using your Windows Installation disc, or install another operating system like Ubuntu.
2016-04-20 12:55 am
You'll end up living in a house without windows !
2016-04-19 11:31 pm

What will happen is you will have a computer
free of Legal spyware.

u does not access all the files from windows 10?
2016-04-20 2:56 am
Rather than uninstalling Win10, I suggest you obtain a free copy of Classic Shell. This can restore the missing start button and help make it look like the very popular Windows 7.
2016-04-19 7:17 pm
If you don't know that, you really shouldn't be messing with it. There are other OS's you could try out, but they involve learning the basics of computers. This question demonstrates that you may not want to do that just yet. It will remove your OS and you will just boot into the BIOS interface. There are TONS of guides on TONS of different things you can do online. If there is a reason for uninstalling Windows 10, like you are having technical issues, then you may want to contact Microsoft for the solution. If you have a bootable Windows 10 disc/drive then you can use it to reinstall, but you may run into issues with their security settings and how many times you are allowed to use that version, resulting in a lengthy tech support phone call to India (i know this from experience). If you want Linux, go for it. However, if that were the case i doubt you would have posted the question.
2016-04-19 2:59 pm
Nothing will happen, only your Windows 10 will get uninstalled.
