Problem in Present Perfect Continuous Tense?

The present perfect continuous eg:-I have been writing letters for many years.
Contrast this with :-eg:-I have written one alphabet.I still can't write after 7 sec.
Example one shows that the action of writing letters began in the past, has extended up to the present and may continue in the future; to express a continuation.
Example two does not indicate the possibility of continuation in the future
