What does it mean if your answers get up voted?

It means that someone gave you a thumbs up on an answer.

You get a thumbs up.

Someone liked your answer but it's irrelevant .

If your answer is chosen best answer you get one additional point added to to the 10 points for best answer, but only 50 thumb ups will be added.

Someone liked your answer, and YES, you CAN thumb up your own answer ONE time.

If and when someone gives an answer a thumb down, that's sarcastic thumb up. thumb downs do NOT take away points if that answer is chosen as best answer.

It means that someone liked or agreed with your answer and gave it an upvote.

It means someone agrees with your answer.

It means you can get more delegates and run for office....not sure what office is available.
