Making certain assumptions about the ambiguous aspects of the problem as YOU wrote it:
[(a-4) (a+3) / (a^2-4)] * [2a / ((a+3) (a-1))]
= 2a (a-4) (a+3) / [(a^2-4) (a+3) (a-1)] -- product of numerators over product of denominators
= 2a (a-4) / [(a^2-4) (a-1)] -- canceling out common factor (a+3)
= (2a^2 - 8a) / (a^3 - a^2 - 4a + 4) -- simplifying
[(a-4) (a+3) / (a^2-4)] * [2a / ((a+3) (a-1))]
