Newquay is a reasonable size and most of its shops are open all the year round just like they are in, for example, Accrington, Port Talbot and Kendal.

The majority of shops are open - people do actually still live there outside the summer.

Many are. If you want a more choices, get down to Truro. It's just 13 miles away.

The same types of shops as in any other town with the exception that some of the shops that cater mainly for tourists close for the winter.
