they are sent to special interment camps surrounded by barbed wire fences, not much is heard from them after that.

Many companies will hire them. Two students from my daughter's graduating classes got jobs . One is at home with family and goes to day care facility for workshop classes.

It depends on their abilities and talents. Everyone is different. My granddaughter who has autism attended high school until she was 21. She lived at home for many years, with a caregiver during the day. Her parents found a group home for her, and she now attends a sheltered workshop daily with the women she lives with.

Most families will hire a caregiver. Some are able to obtain a higher level of education.
