why uk is too liberal? The laws are just too weak on criminals and the victims is always the wrong doer?

Because on 4 April, 1962, a man named James Hanratty was hanged at Bedford Gaol, and a few weeks later they found out he was not actually guilty of the crime for which he was put to death.....since then, understanding that the system may never be "perfect" the UK has deliberately erred in favour of the suspect when there is significant doubt....
Which do YOU think is better? Letting someone "get away with a crime" once in a while? Or punishing someone for something you subsequently learn they did not do?
Should we hang YOU for a crime there's a possibility you did not do? You okay with that?
