I want to quit college (UK). Should I do it?

College is making me incredibly depressed. I have almost no friends, and I am constantly picked in by kids trying to be edgy. I hate the subjects that I'm doing as I chose them when I was not sure what I wanted to do when I'm older. Now I am sure that I want to be a firefighter and I have gotten a place on a course for public services next year. I want to leave my college but my Mum won't let me. How can I convince her? I will get a full time jib.

Until you're 18, you're legally required to be in full time education or training.

So irrelevant of what you want - you can't drop out and get a job.

You will never regret having a college degree, stick it out no matter what subject you are studying.
