I get in trouble for hypersomnia?!?
I had a sleepover at my friends house a while ago and her mum, a professional doctor, diagnosed me with mild hypersomnia. It's really hard for me to wake up because I simply sleep through anyone trying to rouse me and I cant remember anything when I wake up. My hypersomnia is most likely caused by stress from my parents. My parents call me attention seeking when I tell them I have hypersomnia and refuse to even get me diagnosed for free. Then they shout at me, ignore me, cut me off etc. when I oversleep or feel very tired and call me lazy. This causes me to panic as I don't want to be punished and I get scared, which builds up to cause panic attacks and consequently the sleep disorder. What do I do?!

well if your parents wont listen to you then i think you should try seeking help on your own and if you find out you have hypersomnia then your parents will find out and may regret not listening to you, if you find out you don't have it then you don't have to tell them you was wrong, it's a win win right?
have your friends mom talk to them about it...she can show them that it is a real disorder and can be treated...
You are asking in the end: "What do I do?"
Separately consult a professionally qualified doctor for your hypersomnia. And for your anxiety, please take some drastic steps in right direction immediately without fail. To remove such anxieties, you should strictly adhere to the following steps:
There are several reasons for anxiety attacks. One reason is because of illegitimate desires, one may get anxiety.
Secondly, if one is not nurturing healthy, constructive and noble thoughts, habits and traits and if one is not building strong moral behaviors, then it can also lead to anxiety.
Thirdly, if one is not having physical self-discipline and mental control, it can lead to anxiety.
Fourthly one should have homogeneous thoughts, words and deeds. If there is any mismatch in ones thinking, talking and action, it may result in double standards and also in shaking the basic moral foundations.
Fifthly, if there are huge accumulations of impurities hidden in the mind, it can result in doubts, confusions, suspicion or fear.
Sixthly one should only see the brighter side of future. I mean one should not look back about the darker side of the shadow. Avoid darker or negative side of viewing things. Be positive in attitude with a broader outlook and noble vision.
Please analyze everything and try to come out of this problem by some self-efforts.
