Is learning to driving a car easy or hard? Is it scary?

Scary is having a gun pointed at you or being chased by a grizzly bear. Driving is not scary. Driving requires attentiveness. Driving is not hard, but like most things, experience builds confidence.

Nothing worthwhile is easy but, when you look at the number of people who have learnt to drive, it can't be too difficult.
There is a lot you can learn before you ever get in the driving seat of a car. I read books about driving and read the UK 'Highway Code' for a about a year before I started lessons. It helped.
You are more likely to pass the driving test and less likely to have accidents afterwards if you have driving lessons with a qualified driving instructor. It is not cheap but it is worth it.
Yes, it is a bit scary at first but that's good because it makes you more careful. With enough practice and experience, it all becomes second nature.
