Estimates are never exact. That is why they are called estimates.

An exact estimate? No contractor can do that, but very experienced ones can come close.
Some contractors will offer a guaranteed price for some kinds of jobs, however.

Exact............probably none. But all try to add a little fill to cover unexpected expenses; however, if the unexpected is major, then the contractor will come back to you. Read the contract, probably a clause about unexpected or unforeseen costs........
