One of my family members is already in it and I fear that it would always be a competition between us of jealousy.
It's the perfect career but this is the only thing that's holding me back, the idea of jealousy and giving me the fear to try and be successful for fear of starting something. Thoughts?

Do what you want to and what you enjoy.
You won't be living with them so why worry about it.
Even though it is your family it doesn't mean you're tied
to them or they can control your life.
