Can Nutella go bad?

I probably would not eat it if it was me, even if the seal is still on the jar, it may have been compromised and could easily be unsafe. Better toss it.

If it has been opened toss it. If it hasn't been opened open it and take a sniff. If it doesn't smell rancid it should be OK.

maybe buy a new jar. Im surprised it hasn't gone all dry and funny. It does have dairy (skim milk) in it, so even though sugar is a preservative, id be just a bit weary of the milk part.

No Nutella is is bad. Like Scotch, some is better than others. Sniff it for a rancid smell. Absent that, enjoy it.

The oil in it can go stale, making it taste bad.

You can try your jar to see if it still seems OK otherwise just go buy a new jar. Life's too short to put up with yucky tasting Nutella.
