how do you plot this on the graph (3x+18)^2 how is the x-int 6 and not moved 18 units to the left?!?!?

y = (3x + 18)^2
= 9x^2 + 108x + 324
= 9(x^2 + 12x) + 324
= 9(x+6)^2
x-intercept = -6
= 9x^2 + 108x + 324
= 9(x^2 + 12x) + 324
= 9(x+6)^2

x = - 6 is x intercept...and 0² is still 0...and - 6 is -18 / 3
