is it normal to cry when u go ring shopping with your bf to pick out your engagement ring?

when my bf took me to zales to go ring shopping to get my engagement ring. when i found the perfect one and it was on my finger i cried and smiled. is it normal to do that? never been engaged or ring shopping before so this is new to me.

Different people have different emotions. There is no "normal."
