Population density is much lower in the US. I don't care for crowds.

Both have good . bad points . But if I had a choice ,I'd live in Japan .
It's all a matter of opinion .
I feel more of a bond to the Japanese .

I personally would want to live in Japan....but to answer...

Japan, like the US, can get pricey. Land is limited so the cost of living can be high depending on where you live and what type of home you get (apartment, a house, a room, etc.).

There are plenty of ways for you to relax in the US as well as Japan, it just depends on whether you find something that interests you.

Also, Japan's population is obviously smaller, but that also means that during rush hours for work, it'll get heavily packed in the trains/public transportation (especially big cities).

Life is also different in Japan and the US, and it could be a treat, an adventure, but it's also expensive. There is a lot to see and do, but the culture is also different than the US's. I can't say how well you'd adapt to Japan, so it's best if you spend a summer or something there first before moving for good to Japan.
