Ask yourself why you bother to believe in God but not that He loves you enough to save you? Are you resisting His love and offer of forgiveness because you know you are not worthy of it? If God is real, why put limitations on what He can or wants to do?
He has chosen to love us. We can not stop Him.
The choice before us is to either humbly receive it or proudly and fearfully walk away.
Ask Him to reveal Himself and His love for you. He will do it if you are willing and earnest in your search for His love. He wants nothing more than to draw you close:)

You sound like a Muslim. What you listed at the start is EXACTLY what they think.
The only difference is that they believe in hell as a real place of punishment.

Sounds like your just a human being like the rest of us trying to figure out what the rest of us are trying to figure out too. Some of us feel settled and satisfied with the current information to actually make a determination. And then some, like you (and me) feel there is more to it than what meets the eye and that perhaps it is not the way we think or have thought in the past. As far as evidence is concerned all we have is the human social wave of Christianity to go by. Not a shred of evidence exists in a material way other than the fact that something did happen for Christianity to get up and going as it did. Like a bright light that exploded among them and now all that is there is this black hole drawing everything in its path into it.

You believe in a God (doesn't matter which one), therefore you are theist.

Being an atheist or theist has nothing to do with whether you believe in Jesus or not. That just determines whether you are a Christian or not.

Tons of religions are not Christian and have nothing to do with Jesus, but the people are theists because they believe in God(s). Jews are theists (believe in a God) but not Christian (Jesus is not part of their beliefs). Greek Pagans are theists (they believe in Zeus and Aphrodite and all) but not Jesus.

If there is no evidence for it, why believe any of it?

You believe in a God, you are not an atheist.

You doubt the divinity of Jesus, so you could be similar to Jews in belief.
