How do I shave?

You only shave real whiskers. So OK to shave the mustache but don't shave bare skin- does nothing other than possibly cause nicks and cuts. To shave, wet the upper lip area well, let sit for 30 seconds, then apply a thin amount of shave cream or gel and work in for a few seconds. then shave in downward slow strokes.

I don't have time for a long answer right now, but you shave from your cheekbones down to your collarbone. Otherwise you have areas of shaved, slick skin and fuzzy unshaved skin. I loved shaving the first time when I was 14, and I still love it.

Wash your face in hot water to open up the pores. IF you have time, use a face cloth and let it stay on your face for 5 mins. Lather up your shaving creme/gel and apply to your face. Take your razor and slowly glide from ears down. Use short strokes, and rinse the blade often. Go carefully around your jawline, and under it. Then down your neck.

Wash again, but in cold water to close off your pores. Pat dry. Depending on whether you have full beard, partial, 'bum fluff' will indicate the kind of shave you will experience. I don't recommend aftershave for a few years. It can sting. Also, don't be surprised if you have a few nicks on your first attempts. Or if it gets itchy.

There's really nothing to teach. It's really incredibly simple. Just go slow and you'll figure it out really fast.
