It is important to not tolerate hate speach and to be out when it is safe for you - at least when you are on your own and paying your own bills. Write your legislators. Treat everyone how you want to be treated.
I have never met anyone who was afraid of homosexuals.... just because I do not like them and do not like their practices does not mean I am afraid of them.....
I feel like it's the older generation that still think that way since it's how they were raised. I don't know a single person in my high school or anyone my age who's homophobic.
I am not against homosexuality but it seems most homosexuals are infected with gay syndrome. Being gay is about as annoying as those mascots in roller coaster parks, I would rather walk the other way, most homosexuals make me feel that way and I would rather avoid their stupid behaviour which has nothing to do with homosexuality in and of itself.
People aren't homophobic, they have a difference of opinion and are intelligent enough to read the science for themselves and find sufficient countering evidence such that the claims being made can be said, with 100% certainty, to be unprovable.
In other words, no evidence exists that fully supports or denies that homosexuality is a choice.
If being intelligent enough to read and interpret these studies makes one homophobic then it becomes quite obvious why there aren't many studies against LGBT; that being that one cannot use a pseudonym in academic journals and since colleges depend on donators as much as tuition it makes a professor who submits something that is branded "homophobic" a liability to the college which is enough to revoke tenure and fire the professor.
