I'd say that's crazy. You know, judges can sentence people to death because of their crimes, but it doesn't mean they are right to do it. Simply to have that power doesn't make it ok. Drowning children, no matter what they did, is wrong.

If you hold god up to the same standards that we hold people to, he is a nightmare.

If you are a christian, you need to be willing to make excuses for your god. You must make excuses for the evil he commits and the horror that he allows. As long as you expect nothing of god, he delivers.

I would not dignify that statement with any response. I would simply walk away. There is nothing positive to be gained from engaging in a discussion with a person who believes that.

I would replay as follows: it's innocent, not innocence. You need an adjective there, not a noun. Try to get it right. Also, the god of the Old Testament is a moral monster, nothing less.

If their god is loving and forgiving he shouldn't be drowning anyone, innocent or guilty.

I would not respond, experience has taught me that it is futile to discuss with idiots who repeat silly claims of a god killing children because they are "not innocence".

If its proved they are psychopathic then i think it would be doing society a favour. No psychopath is innocent, be it adult or not, they are humankinds achilles heel and i for one wish we could drown the freckin lot ov em. Amen.

You profess the power of your gods and yet believe that it needed to kill of humanity for the sins of a few. It requires a blood sacrifice to obligate those who are yet to exist and yet to sin. So specifically what is the purpose of your particular god!

You're making the same mistake in logic over and over again by judging God by human standards. Humans don't know the future or every possible permutation of events. God, by definition, is all knowing. A better question for atheists would be, would you kill a baby Hitler, why or why not? That would give you a better understanding of The Flood dilemma.
