What is the best intel processor for intense gaming?

I want a processor that is clockable and also i want an i7. so please suggest me with that parameters

"Intense gaming"... you don't need an i7 for gaming, an i5 will work just as well. There is hardly any performance difference, an i7 is juts more favorable if you are doing video editing, visualization etc...

I've been using my i5 3570k from 4 years ago and I can still play all the modern games like Fallout 4, SW: Battlefront and CS:GO. I just upgraded my GPU to a R9 390x.

You need to focus more on the GPU if you are gaming as that is the main component which gaming fixes on... you will be wasting the unused performance power of the i7.

in the i7 range alone there are a few dozen different overclockable cpus...
what is your current motherboard/ budget
