How to get my dog to stop going under my bed?

He ll run to my bed when he s tired and hide under there or he will when he knows he s been naughty or scared. My sister and I made him a nice crate with his food by it and we made it cozy, but he still resorts to our bunkbed. We don t want him in here anymore because he s nothing but a nuisance. He barks at nothing, he got into my sister s candy stash that was hidden with a secure lid on it, he gets into our garbage, he gets into our dirty clothes and drags our dirty underwear under the bed, and he s always getting his muddy paws on our pillows and blankets. How can we get him to stay out? he s a stubborn old dog. Thank you for anyone that answers!

Just block off the bottom of your bed, use something heavy that he can't move. Or use the space under there as storage and just fill it with boxes. If he can't fit under there he's not going to be able to go under there. You can always just keep your bedroom door shut.

Dogs don't come trained that's your responsibility to train it.
Constant supervision, contain only when you can't, immediate correction when caught in the act, dog proof your premises, put everything away so it can't access anything, provide sufficient daily exercise. A tired dog is a good dog.

Close the bedroom door or block access to under the bed.

We stopped our cats from doing that by putting the luggage sets and boxes under the bed to block the area.
