Look up Superdelegate on Wiki. It's basically a way for selected ultra-elite people to override any will of the Democrat voters. (And recent tweets show Superdelegate Howard Dean even bragging that he doesn't have to vote for what the people want, he will vote for how HE decides is best FOR you, even if you disagree.)
Considering how Democrats raise a stink about gerrymandered districts, voter intimidation, and voter ID laws, why are they so deftly silent on Superdelegates and why would they allow their votes to essentially mean nothing?
In some locations, a single Superdelegate vote can reverse the effect of over 100,000 Democrat voters, just with their one, single vote for a different candidate.
Why is voter ID such a cause for outrage but this is not? What is WRONG with you Democrats?
Republicans don't have Superdelegates. (Not YET anyway.)
How are Democrat Superdelegates even legal? And why don't Democrat voters complain about it?

You see, Democrats are sheep. Think of the Superdelegates as sheep herders. Sometimes the sheep wander away, and the Superdelegates herd them back into the pasture.

Try and understand that these are two parties, like clubs, they aren't part of the government.
They can and do make their own rules and there isn't anything illegal about what they decide to do.
In older days the party regulars on all sides would meet in the time honored smoke-filled rooms, and would chose a slate of reliable party representatives who had put in their time and were thought to be reliable and sensible to the views of the party. So you didn't get fifteen crazy people on a stage making the country think this was Real Housemen of the Republic, as we had this season.
Once this season is over look for changes to the way Republicans do things, they did themselves and their brand no favors.
