I accidentally disconnected my ps4 from the wall socket, and when i tried to turn it back on the files were corrupted, so i was given the instructions to reinstall the update by downloading the ps4 3.15 update onto a usb and connecting it to my ps4.
When i connected the usb to the ps4, it keeps on giving me the error "The update file cannot be used Connect a usb storage device that contains the update file for re installation for version 3.15 or later."
What do i do?
My PS4 cannot detect my USB drive for reinstalling the update?

Turn off/on the PS4. Try a different socket. Try a different usb drive.

It's seeing the USB drive, but it doesn't like the update file that's on it.
There are two versions of the file -- a smaller one meant for updating (about 250-300 MB), and a bigger one used when you need to rebuild the hard drive (about 900MB-1GB.
You need the bigger one.
