That was very tactful of you.. However, if there is a custody ensuing over where you will be living I would then let her know that you would prefer living with dad. That is a sticky situation, she'll naturally take it a bit hard.. That's a choice your going to have to make. Spare her feelings and live with her, the courts award mothers custody the majority of the time, or tell her the truth and live with dad..

It would make it easier if he happened to live closer to relatives and friends, school and activities. This way its more of a convenience issue. As a mom I love my son unconditionally and would understand if he wanted to live with his dad instead, if we were to divorce. I would hope most mom's are like that.
