He is the Son of God, the promised Messiah, who came from Heaven to become human, who died and was resurrected, returned to Heaven, and is coming back again to usher in the Day of Judgment.
The Bible is full of details, which all need to be put together to form a complete picture. But a good starting point would be the first chapter of John's gospel. John spent years with Jesus and was an eye witness to His death and resurrection. This is what He wrote (in part):
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were made through him, and without him nothing that was made was made... And the Word became flesh and we beheld his glory, that of the only-begotten who came from the Father, full of grace and truth... No-one has ever seen God, the only-begotten Son, who is at the Father's side, has made him known."
Muslims and atheists and Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons and hosts of other people will not have that. They are free to disagree. When Jesus returns to Earth in great glory, all that will be sorted out. Mind you, it would be better for people to get that sorted out now, before He returns.
