From your question, it seems that it is the prophet himself wishes to travel. If it is only the prophet own desire, he should drop the idea.If God send the prophet to travel to a dangerous place, the prophet should follow no matter what would be the result. Calling from God is clear. If you feel it is nto clear or you are lack of faith, you can ask God. Gideon asked God for signs, God gave him signs.

Strength is what matters most, prophet looks after his health and builds strength then he can overcome all the hassle of travel.
