Bob needs to cover a distance of 400 meters in 50 seconds to qualify for the olympics. Calculate the speed he needs to be running at to achieve this?

Speed= Distance / (Time taken)
= (400 m) / (50 s)
= 8 m/s

d = 400 m , t = 50 s, v = ?
so
v = 400/50= 8 m/s
so
v = 400/50= 8 m/s
