Molar mass of HC₂H₃O₂ = 1×4 + 12×2 + 16×2 = 60 g/mol

Mass of HC₂H₃O₂ = 60 × 1 = 60 g

Percent by mass of HC₂H₃O₂ = (60/100) × 100% = 60%
