[10:09:46 PM] Karalynia: If it requires 48.3 milliliters of 0.55 molar nitric acid to neutralize 15.0 milliliters of barium hydroxide, solve for the molarity of the barium hydroxide solution.
[10:09:49 PM] Karalynia: can you help me with that

Ba(OH)₂ + 2HNO₃ → Ba(NO₃)₂ + 2H₂O
OR: Mole ratio Ba(OH)₂ : HNO₃ = 1 : 2

No. of moles of HNO₃ = 0.55 × (48.3/1000) = 0.02657 mol
No. of moles of Ba(OH)₂ = 0.02657 × (1/2) = 0.01329 mol
Molarity of Ba(OH)₂ = 0.01329 / (15/1000) = 0.886 mol
