What is the risks of earring 500 calories a day for 4 months?

I'm 12 years old, and I'm very overweight. I can NEVER loose weight!! It just doesn't happen. I don't know why, even my doctor wants to do blood work for some disease related to my weight. I'm scared, so I really wanted to loose weight fast. So I was wondering if eating 500 calories for only 4 months will do any harm? If so, please, please, tell me the fastest (yet kinda safe) way to loose 68 pounds? And how long will it take for me to loose that pounds? I don't want to take longer than 6 months.... Please help!!

You are only 12, so you're still changing. Don't focus too much on losing weight. Eat healthy, exercise. That's all. You will get taller soon and fill out in different places and everything will be fine. The same thing happened to me in one summer. I got back to school and everyone wanted to date me lol

Listen to hannah eat right and exercise. Your doctor most likely wants to give you a TSH test that is Thyroid Stimulating Hormone. The thyroid regulates our metabolism. If it turns out that your thyroid is low you will take one pill a day in the morning. That's it.

poor nutrition/starvation stunts growth in children.
so you might not grow as tall as you normally would have plus poor nutrition makes it easier to get sick.
4 children die every minute from nutrition related causes.

I don't know the risks, but I know enough to know that's not safe. Before attempting this, you should talk to your doctor. It's much safer, even if it might frustrate you.

500 calories a day is not enough. Your body needs enough food to provide you with the right amount of energy and nutrients. Without eating at the least 1,200 calories a day, you will feel extremely weak. You won't be able to exercise as you won't have the energy, and it will have a terrible negative effect on your body. Eat properly as well as exercise properly. Drink plenty of water, eat low fat low sugar foods. You will lose weight. There is no excuse. You can do this. Take care.

Okay so you can lose weight, you're not some superhuman who can't. You just need to ask your parents for help. Stick to eating a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Limit sweets and stuff. Go outside and take a walk every other day, hang out with friends. Drink plenty of water. The weight will shed off pretty quickly. Also, at 12 years old you still have babyfat. It disappears when you're an adult so don't worry about that. Enjoy your childhood, don't get caught up in this stuff. Love yourself!

You would be dead before the 4 months ended and if you should still be alive you would be very ill because your body needs a certain amount of calories to survive or it starts eating its own lean muscle tissues - I have tried every diet there is over past 30 years and lost and regained the weight but now type 2 diabetic I have to stick to healthy eating and exercise and lost 28lbs and not regained it, Good Luck

YES, eating only 500 calories a day will do you harm. That is essentially starvation and yes, starvation is not good on your body.

If you are having issues losing weight, PLEASE TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR.

And you are not losing 68 lbs in 4 months. 6 months...maybe. Eat a minimum of 1200 calories a day and have at least 30 minutes of cardio a day.
Losing weight too fast results in loose skin & you still look flabby in the end with that method.

Anorexia, very bad health and malnutrition. You need to lose weight the right way- cut down on carbs, snacks and sugary foods, eat five a day, half an hour of exercise a day- good luck!
