What does this weird pain in my testicle mean?

I have had this pain for quite a while, but it comes and goes. It is in my right testicle. It is sometimes shooting pain or consistent for hours at a time or hurts to run or sit or lay down. Sometimes my lower abdomen hurts and i lose apetite sometimes. Any suggestions?

Also, i am calling my pediatrician tomorrow to ask and stuff. Then i am going to a nearby physician and if it gets worse ill go to the hospital in a week.

Do you think i should go to the ER (hospital) first/right now? Even if i dont have the pain now? My mom said not to go now cause there is no pain, but rather go when there is pain or after we have info from the standard physician

I'd need to inspect your testicle further, possibly with my tongue, which is very sensitive and insightful. Contact me if you'd like to try out my investigative and talented diagnostic technique.

Sounds like infection to me.

If the pain feels like it's right below the rib cage, it's possible you are having kidney stones. I had kidney stones in the past and the first couple times I did, I experienced pain in my nuts like you are. The pain there stopped after awhile, but remained in my abdomen. It seem to hurts even more when moving because what is happening is that there is a stone comprised of minerals from the kidneys that is traveling through the ureter and by you moving, the ureter is also being bent and such which puts more stress on the location of stone. The ureter is a tiny tube that connects the kidney to the bladder. The stone can be as small as a single millimeter, but that is still larger than the ureter. It truly hurts like hell and all you can is just clench your side in agony. Here's how you can tell if this is definitely likely possibility. Has your urine contained blood recently? Brownish or almost red colored urine? If so, chances are you are experiencing kidney stones. When ever you first notice the pain, immediately go drink water. The water help breakdown the stone. Once you've dealt with a stone or two, you'll be used to it and can handle the pain like a pro. And you'll also develop a higher tolerance to pain.

As for going to the hospital. In the end, there's not much the ER or your physician can do other than try to determine a reason for why you are having kidney stones. They'll just tell you what I said, drink lots of water. There are different causes for kidney stones and that's what they'll be trying to figure out. If I remember correctly, when I went to the ER, they did send me home with a prescription to an antibiotic just because the stone is doing temporary damage to the ureter, hence causes blood in the urine, but I think your physician would prescribe it to you as well if you mentioned blood.
