Most teachers that are new simply can't until they have 2 years experience.

If you want to get paid more than the teachers at a public school 🏫 you may have to try working at a religious private school 🏫 - alternatively you could open 🔓 your own registered and licenced with the board of education tutor school 🏫

Teacher is not a very high paid profession. If money is more important you may want to rethink being a teacher.

Teacher pay has improved a lot, but is still low by comparison with other professions. Teachers who are in fields of high demand, such as math and science, do a bit better than those where the field is crowded, such as history or English literature, and teachers who are willing to seek out jobs in less desirable locations will often get paid a premium over those who insist on working in particular climates or places. But the bottom line is that people enter the teaching profession for reasons other than money. They enjoy the personal satisfaction which comes from helping others, they like the work schedule which allows for many vacation periods, and they take pleasure in organizing and explaining concepts so that others understand them. Nobody should enter the teaching profession simply in search of "lots of money," because that person will be very disappointed. Unless the other advantages, unrelated to salary, are an important consideration, teaching wouldn't be the best choice.
