Assume that the cost price of B is $x/kg , and n kg of coffee A are mixed.So, 2n kg of coffee B are mixed.
Summary :
A : $12/kg , n kg
B : $x/kg , 2n kg
mixture : $36/kg , 3n kg
Hence,
Total cost price = 36*3n = 12*n + x*2n
108 = 12 + 2x
x = 54 - 6 = 48
