(5/x) + (3/2x) = 6/(x + 2)

(10/2x) + (3/2x) = 6/(x + 2)

(13/2x) = 6/(x + 2)

13(x + 2) = 12x

13x + 26 = 12x

x = -26

If that is:

5 / x + 3 / (2x) = 6 / (x + 2)

Then the first thing to notice is that x cannot be -2 or 0, otherwise you'll be dividing by zero.

Next, the LCD of this is 2x(x + 2). Multiply both sides by this to get rid of the fractions:

10(x + 2) + 3(x + 2) = 12x

simplify and solve:

10x + 20 + 3x + 6 = 12x
13x + 26 = 12x
x = -26

Multiply by(2x)(x+2)
10(x+2)+3(x+2)=6(2x)
10x+20+3x+6=12x
13x+26=12x
x=-26
-10/52-3/52=-13/52=-1/4
6/(x+2)=6/(-26+2)=6/-24=-1/4
