In how many ways can a group of 12 men be divided into two groups of 8 and 4?

Steps :1. Take out 8 men from the 12 men to form a group of 8. The number of ways in this step is C(12,8).
2. The rest 4 men form a group. The number of ways in this step is 1.
Total number of ways
= C(12,8) × 1
= 12!/8!4!
= 495
