The value of h for the reaction below is -126kj. How much heat is released when 2.00mol of NaOH is formed in the reaction?
2Na2O2(s)+2H2O(I)->4NaOH(s)+O2(g)

2Na₂O₂(s) + 2H₂O(l) → 4NaOH(s) + O₂(g) ... ΔH = -126 kJ

Refer to the above equation.
When 4 mol of NaOH is formed, 126 kJ of energy is released.

Now, 2 mol of NaOH is formed.
Heat released = 126 × (2/4) = 63 kJ
