Disinfectant spray and pets?

I sprayed the side of my bed with disinfectant while my dog laid in the middle on the bed halfway under a cover. My mom freaked out and scared me. If any over spray got on him would it be enough to hurt/kill him? I washed him off with a soapy rag all over even though he was covered. I didn't think any got on him, I didn't aim at him. Will he be okay? What do I do?

Dogs and cats are very sensitive to smells of things we use to clean or clean the air. It bothers them big time. There was no need I can think of for you to spray your bed. Chemical cleaners for the surface or air are bad for cats and dogs.

You dog will be fine.Its ok.You do use flea meds right?Way more harmful stuff in that.Glad you cared enough to ask.
