I suffer from an itchy scalp and flaky, dandruff hair. I've tried a lot of the commercial brand products out there that you can buy from stores like Walmart, and I haven't been satisfied. But ever since trying this ArganRain shampoo 3 weeks ago, my hair has shown a great improvement! I don't have flaky, greasy looking hair anymore and my scalp finally feels great and itch free. My hair has never looked or felt better. Thanks!

"Foods for Healthy Hair"
.. - or 10 Best Foods for Your Hair.
NO MATTER which link you picked, they all suggest the same foods. Your hair may be the fastest-growing tissue in the body but, unlike the skin, it cannot repair itself. That is why getting the right balance of vitamins and proteins is imperative. Don't expect to look like you've stepped out of a hair commercial the day after you've changed your diet. It is likely to take at least three months before you actually see tangible results. Hair is dead, but hair also has electrical energy; the negative charge of damaged hair can lead to flyways and unruly hair and tampering with your hair using heat makes the hair grow slowly or none, you’re sending currents to the roots tampering them.

Growing healthy hair doesn't come from a bottle or pills and hair products do not speed hair growth. Any hair oil, is another form to keep hair moisturized, nothing more. If you're in HS, your hair & nails should be growing normally, and as healthily as possible, since you're eating healthy foods. But when hair isn't growing as fast, it's because they've been tampered with: chemicals, hair straightening, etc. .

5 Best foods to eat for stronger nails & healthier hair:

1. Protein - lean meat, etc.
2. iron - any dark leafy vegetables like kale (king of greens) & spinach are high in iron .
3. Blueberries: “Antioxidants help protect your body's cells against free radical damage," says Erin Palinski, RD, author of Belly Fat Diet For Dummies. "This damage increases stress hormones and inflammation, which impacts all cells in the body, including those in the hair and nails."
4. Almonds: Among other fruits and dark greens, Palinski calls out blueberries: "They have one of the highest antioxidant properties of all fruits," she says.4. Not only are almonds a good source of protein, they're loaded with magnesium, which helps maintain healthy hair and nails."Magnesium is Mother Nature's anti-stress mineral, and stress is a major factor in hair loss," explains Ashley Koff, RD. "Vertical ridges in your nails may be a sign of inadequate magnesium," adds Palinski. You can also get more magnesium through leafy greens
5. Beer is one of the richest sources of silicon in the average diet, says research from the Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture."Silicon is a trace mineral thought to increase circulation to the scalp, which is good news for hair growth," says Rebecca Kazin, MD, dermatologist at the Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery and the Johns Hopkins Department of Dermatology. That explains why a daily 10-milligram silicon supplement was shown to reduce hair and nail brittleness after 20 weeks, according to the Archives of Dermatological Research. No need to go overboard, though: Most single servings of beer contain more than 10 milligrams of silicon. Experts recommend that having no more than one drink a day if you're a woman, and two if you're a man.

There is no such thing. As long as you are eating a varied diet, you will get all the nutrients you need. Taking additional vitamins really does nothing for you -- it is only a way for you to spend money. There is no evidence that vitamin supplements are of any benefit to you at all.
