Hi,
my husband done his PhD in Mathematics (from IIT) and now he have a teaching experience of 3 years(applied mathematics) as a Assistant Professor, also a good researcher. He want to go abroad but some confusion are creating problems because some people saying that if you done your phd in India you cant get job in abroad and if you go for Post Doctorate then it was a contract of 3 or 4 years and that time to busy in research only so you loose your teaching skills so after that its difficult to find a job in India also on good level and if you start from starting positing the problem is salary problem & you also loose your family life. In India they giving only 40 to 50,000 in hand in starting. so is it possible to get a job in abroad for indian PhD holder (IIT). if yes, then how can he apply and get the job.
second thing if he done his post doc in somewhere in foreign so after that can he apply for job in abroad only because in India they cant pay sufficient. Please help

If your husband's English is as bad as yours, rule out any English-speaking country and find one where you are fluent in the language and has a shortage of teachers.

Your English skills are appallingly bad. If your husband's English skills are not FAR superior to yours, he does not even qualify for admission to a bachelor's degree program in any English-speaking country or English-based curriculum. He cannot work abroad.

Furthermore, if his doctoral dissertation was published or presented at international symposia for professional mathematics societies, and made any serious impact on the field of mathematics, universities would come to him with offers of lecturer or other positions. If his dissertation, or articles based on his dissertation research, were not accepted by international juried professional publications, and/or he was not invited to present his work at international symposia, the academic world has NO interest in him or his work. And he is strictly unemployable abroad.

You may be greedy for money, but you are not in the least attuned to reality. Professors - except for certain internationally renowned academicians - are not well paid. Taxes take half or more of gross salary. And cost of living runs as much as 10 times India's cost of living. You want more money? Earn it in India where a rupee goes farther than $10 elsewhere. He is already earning more per month in India than he would earn as a part-time lecturer in the US (if he were qualified, and it is obvious he is not).
