A solid is composed of a cylinder with hemispherical ends, the length of the cylinder is same as the diameter of hemispherical ends. if entire length of solid is 28 m . Find the curved surface area of the solid ?

please tell how to do this ?

this is a 'trick' question.......there is no cylinder...it is all a sphere...

diameter of hemisphere = 28/2 = 14 m
radius r = 7 m
curved surface area = surface area of sphere of radius 7
= 4πr²
= 196π m²
