Molar mass of Al = 27 g/mol
Molar mass of Al₂O₃ = 27×2 + 16×3 = 102 g/mol

2Al₂O₃ → 4Al + 3O₂
1 mole of Al₂O₃ produces 2 moles of Al.

No. of moles of Al₂O₃ = (7.17 × 1000 g) / (102 g/mol) = 70.3 mol
No. of moles of of Al produced = 70.3 × 2 = 140.6 mol
Mass of Al produced = 27 × 140.6 = 3800 g = 3.80 kg
