✔ 最佳答案
For the hydrogen gas produced :
Pressure, P = 24.0 atm
Volume, V = 26.0 L
Absolute temperature, T = 273 + 23 = 296 K
Gas constant, R = 0.082 atm L / (mol K)
Number of moles, n = ? mol

PV = nRT
n = PV/(RT) = 24.0 × 26.0 / (0.082 × 296) = 25.7 mol

2H⁺(aq) + 2e⁻ → H₂(g)
For each mole hydrogen formed, 2 moles of electrons are involved.
No. of moles of electrons involved = 25.7 × 2 = 51.4 mol

Each mole of electrons carries 96500 C of electricity.
Amount of electricity = 51.4 × 96500 = 4960000 C

Q = It
Time taken, t = Q/I = 4960000/7.9 = 628000 s = 174 hours
