Can I begin homeschooling (online schooling) now?
My dad says that he can't even take me out of school right now because it's too late but it's February and school ends in May. That's not too take, is it? Also, can't you get expelled or something where you HAVE to be homeschooled or go to a school that will take you if you miss too many days of school?

Speak with your school guidance counselor.
Most online schools are no longer accepting new students. Those that are, can have delays and than you wind up re-taking the school semester or school year (that happened to my nephew with Connections Acedemy he had to re-take one entire semester).
And some states do not have free public online schooling. As for teaching yourself - your parents have to buy all the curriculum and materials (easily costing $1000).
If you miss too many days of school, you are truant. Sorry - and that does not force you are your parents into homeschooling. Some districts have alternative schools for the bad kids (and kids who chronically skip school). Trust me, you do not want to be there.
Suck it up. Mark on your calendar ""9 weeks to go"", ""8 weeks to go"", and set a goal to get out of school and done by the end of the school year.

You just posted about being 15 and pregnant. PLEASE FINISH SCHOOL! DO THIS FOR THE BABY! If you are extremely sick, again - the school guidance counselor may have options with what is called "homebound services". You still go to your school, but a tutor teaches you at home. It's not homeschooling. It's your school, in your home, with school tutors. Your OB doctor would have to recommend home bound education services so you would qualify.
I went to school when pregnant at age 16. It's hard. I was in labor when I took my English final exam. I am proud of my diploma, and sticking to my education. I'm worth more than a low pay, minimal skill job that you get when you only have a high school diploma.
參考: Best wishes. It's time to make grown-up decisions that will affect you for the next few years. Plan wisely!
online schooling is either a public or a private school, not homeschooling. The law gives parents the right to choose how their children are raised and educated. They may choose public, private or homeschooling but NO ONE, especially the government, gets to force parents to choose any of them.
Stick it out and get it behind you. Then over the summer you can reevaluate your situation and work WITH your parent to make a decision based on all the factors that will be best for you.
You would need to contact the online school you are interested in and ask if they are still accepting students for this school year. Some schools aren't. Nor are any schools required to accept you if you get expelled from your current school.
It is not that easy and there is usually a delay. Not all school systems make it easy for this type of an issue, not all states do either. Your best bet is to go talk to your schools guidance counselor and find out what your options really are.
